WAINSCOTING IN GENERAL
Wainscoting basically a wall panel meant as a wall decoration. It is made from various materials from solid wood to plastic based such as PVC or polystyrene. The original wainscoting are made using solid wood. The wainscoting design has evolved from simple box design to multi box with various beading / molding frames pattern. The standard component normally the baseboard / skirting, chair rail (The middle horizontal beading), and molding frame (the boxes).
